Walking through the festival gates for your first time, wild thoughts run through your head.
You’ve heard so many people’s positive memories of Electric Forest that you already know to expect to be wowed. Even though there are hired character actors, stilt walkers, and interactive art conductors roaming in between trees and surprising you, it is sometimes hard to differentiate who is more captivating – the purposeful costumed actors or the festival goers.
We’ve come to the conclusion, we need the happy mix of the two – to feel just enough fantasy that we are swept away to magical place and just enough reminders that people are really this extraordinary.
Sometimes it just takes an electric environment to really let yourself shine.
It’s only been one day of Electric Forest’s Second Weekend, and we already took in enough beauty to last us the year.
