The Interrupters Live

The Interrupters rolled into NYC Saturday night to bring to the Big Apple their brand of authentic Ska. The crowd was dancing non-stop as they ripped through a high energy set featuring songs from both of their albums as well as a cover of “Sound System” by Operation Ivy. Not sure how many in the audience knew that song but certainly myself and the cool dad with his 9 year old daughter (both rocking The Interrupters tees) were singing along to every word.

Ska is often referred to in waves and time periods of influence but the truth is that it never really comes or goes. This isn’t the 4th wave of Ska but the genre is alive and well no matter what era. Just watch the video and you’ll see, plenty of people still love this shit!
