If you checked out the Dustin Kensrue post last week you know that Thrice is one of my favorite bands. I don’t remember how I came across Teranishi, but this hand crafted goods brand is the work of Thrice guitarist Teppei Teranishi. He is an amazing musician but he also engineered some of the later Thrice albums as well as Dustin’s first solo album. On top of that he now designs and makes these incredible hand made goods from his home studio in Vashon Island, Washington.
Every piece is hand made by Teppei himself using high quality materials which he seeks out. Some collections such as the Indigo series feature leather goods which are hand dyed in-house with natural indigo dye in small batches. The dedication, craftsmanship and mastery in all of his pieces are simply astounding. Even from browsing through the website it is easy to tell there is something special about each piece.
It is impressive how much Teppei can do all on his own, and as you can imagine many pieces are sold out or made to order. There are so many beautiful goods offered on the site I really don’t know how he does it. Teppei is someone I truly respect and his new brand is definitely inspirational.
