SUMMERTIME IN THE LBC 7/7/18 AT QUEEN MARY PARK LONG BEACH
With temperatures currently in the 100s, Summertime in the LBC is back at it again this year just in time to kick off one hot summer in Southern California. Last year was the inaugural year of the fest that brought a star-studded line-up featuring legends to the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Warren G and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony solidifying it as the prime ticket for hip-hop heads across the generational board. This year, the festival returns bringing head liners Ice Cube, The Game and the LBC Godfather himself Snoop Dogg to Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, California this Saturday, July 7.
Whether you’re a millennial with a music library rich in legendary roots or an older music soul seeking a more current music experience; this festival is a must. It’s continuation ensures a multi-generational lineup for all the funky, rap and hip hop lovers that spawns across the years.
For all those who missed the event the first time, the Observatory has brought back some of its fire acts from its past lineup like DJ Quick & Sugar Free and The Dogg Pound. Just to make sure the party keeps going this time around, they’ve also added along acts like Ja Rule & Ashanti, E-40, Too Short and The Dramatics. So whether you’re ready to sit under the palm trees to the soulful sounds of The Isley Brothers or get hyphey to Mack 10, hold a loved one to the tunes of The Manhattans or hold a cold one to the bars of Method Man & Redman; there will surely be a prime Californian mood and experience awaiting all festival goers.
While the festival is currently sold out (GA & VIP) to the hottest ticket this weekend; we will be covering the event via our socials to bring you all the California heat. Last year our viewers witnessed everything from engaging crowds to an engagement itself; and we can only anticipate even more surprises this year as the festival expands its trademark into the festival scene.
