My boy Jon Muro, a great producer, songwriter, lyricist and manager who I have known since I was a kid has put me onto this talented artist from Staten Island that goes by the name of AC. Today’s hip-hop pick is a recently released track by AC called “Just Checking In”, which is filled with extremely clever references and witty wordplay. This track gets better every time I listen to it, as I pick up on different references each time.
