The best time of the year is baccccccccck! S U M M E R is here 🙂 The Brooklyn Mirage opened its doors for the first time this summer and had the talented South African DJ and Producer, Black Coffee, kick off season with a magical set.  The Brooklyn Mirage is the outdoor portion of the huge warehouse complex – Avant Gardner. Avant Gardner hosts the hottest events in New York City all year around but are famous for their outdoor parties at the Mirage.
Photo by Julian CassadyBlack Coffee kicked off the summer with a bang, selling out the Mirage, and let me tell you…it was packed! People from all walks of life gathered for this event. I met locals and even some people from South Africa! I’ve been dying to see Black Coffee for over a year and I am stoked that I was able to witness his performance at the Mirage – perfect venue for him! Black Coffee’s sound is much different than your average Dj/Producer. He transformed the mirage into a funky desert vibe with his world known visuals and Soullistic Music. Soullistic music has broken the dance scene and has become more popular over the recent years, and you can attribute this to Black Coffee – the creator.  His visuals are on of a kind, desert scenes mixed with lucid dreams. Very mesmerizing and a huge crowd hit.
