Kevin Johnn presented his Fall Winter 2016-2017 collection in Manhattan this previous Tuesday the 16th. Models, and the crew backstage, indulged themselves in a variety of ordeurves; as the DJ who dressed in Johnn’s designs mixed beats in the background. She looked like a high-profile mixer at a party for socialites, wearing heels and a black suit with the jacket open enough to expose a glittery bralette and necklace.

Models one by one walked into the showroom, posing around the room. Unlike most fashion shows, the presentation featured five models, who each showed five different pieces. The collection therefore was separated into mini collections. The models came out individually, moving from the right side of the room to the left posing for the camera. This organization ran smoothly, giving the guests time to analyze the collection and photographers ample time to take good shots.

The main colors included silver, red, and black. The red accents created a romantic tone. A low-cut dress with a side slit, patterned with red flowers over a black background, was a stand-out piece. The look included a choker of similar fabric, with a simple pendant necklace dangling underneath. The contrast of the adorned neck with an open chest was just the right amount of revealing. The collection included jackets with geometric draping, and suits with modern silhouettes that made a striking impression. Each look was more luxurious than the next.
