Rainbow Kitten Surprise

Rainbow Kitten Surprise (RKS) fans were treated to a ‘homecoming’ celebration this past weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina that included a new album, 2-nights of live music and enough dancing to last you the entire month of April.

Originally from mountains of Boone, NC, just a short 4 hour drive west of Raleigh, Rainbow Kitten Surprise is no stranger in this area and over 2,000 of their fans showed up for back to back sold out shows at The Ritz.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise’s new album How To: Friend, Love, Freefall contains 13 tracks all of each were played the first night as well as several classics. The Second night opened with one of their new songs “It’s Called: Freefall” and also featured songs like “Devil Like Me, Matchbox and Painkillers.” The Encore included songs like “Possum Queen” and “Run.” Sam Melo, lead singer of RKS, wasn’t short of energy. His dance moves excited the crowd as they echoed back the lyrics word for word all night long. Fans were treated to multiple sets both nights and two special sit-in performances with CAAMP.

It’s safe to say if Rainbow Kitten Surprise plays a show in their home state, you don’t want to miss it. Rainbow Kitten Surprise is on tour through May 19th, 2018 across the country with select dates in Canada.
