I randomly discovered this band San Fermin on Soundcloud while listening to Sundara Karma, which was a recent Muse-Ick! pick from this week. San Fermin is a Brooklyn-based baroque rock band that was started by composer and songwriter, Ellis Ludwig-Leone. If you have never heard about Baroque rock, it is basically a sub-genre of music which emerged in the 1960s as a fusion of pop rock, classical music, orchestral pop and baroque music. The band’s Sophomore album was recently released on Downtown Records, which is a label that has a diverse roster of artists ranging from Cold War Kids to Gnarls Barkley. This track is extremely catchy, which you can easily find yourself playing on repeat.
