The eighth annual BUKU Music + Art Project will take place at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans March 22 – 23, 2019.
New Orleans knows its music, and BUKU Festival brings the heavy dance, hip-hop, rock and pop every year.
With surrealistic Mardi Gras inspired stages, BUKU is one of the most picturesque and artistic music festivals on the Gulf Coast; A new age “jazz fest” per-say, aimed at younger generations. In a press release, BUKU described themselves as “at the crosshairs of underground warehouse party and major urban music festival by fusing a progressive and diverse musical lineup with live street art, one-of-a-kind industrial art installations, local food vendors, and dozens of surprise ‘pop-up’ performances”
This year, BUKU has released one of their biggest lineups yet. The two day festival included insane acts such as
Lana Del Rey, Excision, Kevin Gates, RL Grime, A$AP Rocky, Dog Blood, GRiZ and Louis The Child are set to headline the festival. Ella Mai, $uicideboy$, Dashboard Confessional, Claude Vonstroke, Death Grips, G Jones and Papadosio are also among the many amazing Buku ’19 acts confirmed currently.
