AUSTRALIAN DANCE-POP OUTFIT RELEASE NEW TRACK FROM UPCOMING DEBUT ALBUM VIA MAD DECENT
Australian dance-pop trio, Haiku Hands, have shared their newest track “MANB*ITCH” from their upcoming debut LP to be released via Mad Decent in August. An eclectic mix of electronic, hip hop and pop; their latest single is a prime example of their curation, performance and work as a collective of artists, engaging and exploring social norms with their lyrical and visual content.
Speaking on the origins and meaning behind the empowering track, the group stated: “‘ MANBITCH’ was one of the first songs we ever wrote together. It was written and recorded in Joel Ma’s studio in Melbourne with extra production flavour by Elgusto. We were laughing our heads off as we wrote it. It’s a club banger and a reimagining of the concept ‘bitch’ for anyone from any gender identification who would like to use it, own it and flex it. ”
Up to this point, the single was one that could only be heard at their incredibly high energy and outrageous live shows but the crowd pleaser is now finally available digitally across all platforms. Providing sprightly visuals to match the empowering ode, they have also released a music video in the form of a global hoedown of ass-shaking proportions which was directed by Nathan Lewis.
