HIGHLY SUSPECT AT IRVING PLAZA

SONIC CO-FOUNDER / EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

HOMECOMING

It’s been almost a year since our interview with Highly Suspect, which incidentally was about a week before they received their surprising but deserving grammy nomination for their debut album Mister Asylum. The band told us then about plans on working on their next record out in California, to switch it up and draw inspiration from a different city. The Brooklyn trio is currently on a tour leading up to the release of that album, The Boy Who Died Wolf which is due out November 18th. The band returned home briefly playing to a sold out crowd at Irving Plaza.

We got the first taste of the new album via the song “My Name Is Human” which we recently featured on one of our Playlists, and now with less than 2 weeks before the release date they have dropped another new song, “Little One.”
