EVERYBODY CAN RELATE TO LOOSE BUTTONS’ NEW EP ‘SUNDAYS’

WE ALL GO THROUGH IT

NY indie rockers Loose Buttons are gearing up for their residency at Pianos which starts tonight and runs through every Wednesday night of this month, leading up to the release of their new EP Sundays scheduled for February 24th. I had a chance to catch up with the boys to talk about the introspective EP which focuses on a live feel as well as their growth as musicians and humans. It’s always interesting to get a candid and detailed look inside the process of bands, and Sundays certainly is a body of work they feel very close to.

Their song “Am I The Only Reason” stems from a breakup vocalist/guitarist Eric Nizgretsky was going through, and while the rest of the band Manny Silverstein (Bass), Adam Holtzberg (Drums) and Zack “Kitty” Kantor (Guitar) had a first hand account of the ordeal, Eric realized that this was something everyone has experienced in their lives. No matter where we live and what our backgrounds are, we have all experienced the feeling of missing someone, wanting someone, then not wanting that person. Sometimes we want them again, and other times we move on, but in the end, we all go through it.
