Our favorite 2019 Fall Sneakers (so far)
There are two big trends we are seeing in sneakers for fall 2019. Off-Road mountain trainers as streetwear and the continuation of retro nostalgia (we are not sure if that will ever go away.) Here is a list of our favorite 2019 fall sneakers so far:
Trailhead V2
These super flexible off-road trainers will keep you on trend while also providing your feet with he stability and comfort they deserve. They come in four color ways including the brown sequoia that looks like you’re heading out on a long hike. You can find these at Lems for $130.
Puma Trailfox
Here a perfect trainer for off-road trail running (or walking). These all-terrain kicks which were first designed 20-years ago, offer a contemporary look for the streetwear crowd. These retail for $130 at Puma.
Packer x Ellesse Piazza OG
The Piazza OG Ellesse dropped this past week at their pop-up shop in Manhattan for $120. What we like most about these kicks is their elegant simplicity. A sneaker that can be dressed up or dressed down. The retro nostalgia we get when looking at these only helps.
Karhu Legacy OG
We are a big fan of Karhu’s latest drop, the Karhu Legacy 96 OG in white and purple. It is hard to make simple white trainers feel fresh and Karhu nails it with these. Check these out at Karhu for $150.
Nike x Off-White Zoom Terra Kiger 5
We are at that point when Virgil Abloh drops a new silhouette and everyone else tries to cash in on that trend. In this case, off-road mountain sneakers. We don’t suggest you rock climb in these but they are damn cool to trot through the city in. They were also on our best summer 2019 sneakers list. You can find these in three color ways at StockX starting at $175.
Salomon S/Lab XT-6
This Salomon S/Lab XT-6 unisex trainers are currently all the rage. They are highly cushioned. Have rear foot descent control. And they are light and durable. They also have been popping up at fashion shows — worn mostly by the people attending those fashion shows.
Afew x Diadora N. 9000
The Afew’s latest collaboration with Diadora is expected to drop September 7th at Sneakernstuff NYC for $230. We are really digging the subtle green and pink on what is a standard go to trainer during fall.
Junya Watanabe x New Balance 1500
These simple yet fresh New Balance by Junya Watanbe for Comme Des Garçon first made their debut on the FW Paris runway and were released earlier this month at Dover Street Market.
Cactus Plant Flea Market Nike Blazer Mid CPFM Sponge By You
Just because the weather is turning doesn’t mean you can have fun like you do in the summer. Cactus Plant Flea Market and Nike bring you some fall fun. The pair, according to Nike, is inspired by the DIY nature of skate footwear. They will be available at Nike’s Customization platform on August 27th.
Louis Vuitton Trainer Sneaker
We are getting a lot of Air Jordan 4 retro nostalgia with these Virgil Abloh designed kicks for Louis Vuitton. They currently are way out of our budget on stockx but if you have $1750.00 to spend on sneakers these might be for you.
Palace Skateboards x Reebok Pro Workout Low
For those looking to spend less than you would on the LV x Vigil Abloh, Palace x Reebok bring you the Pro Workout Low. You can find these over at Palace.
Veja x Rick Owens
We first got a glimpse of the Rick Owens Veja collaboration at their FW19 runway show. We have always been a fan for Veja’s mission. They claim to be transparent and use organic materials and fair trade sourcing.
Chemist Creations x ASICS GEL-Kayano 5
The chunky sneaker fad is not going away anytime soon and we really dig what Chemist Creations and Asics did here with their Gel Kayano 5 sneakers. We expect them to drop in October for $180.
Nike Air Max 90 – Wheat Suede
These Nike Air Max 90s bring a fall twist to the comfort sneaker. We expect these to drop soon at Nike.
sacai x Nike Blazer
These look so damn cool. We are digging the added zipper to one our favorite sneakers of 2019. We expect the updated sacai x nike collaboration to drop on line the week of Septmeber 12. Keep a look out at sacai.
ASICS GEL-Lyte V
We’re digging the white perforated upper the primary color leather accents on what we have said over and over again to be the most comfortable trainer on the market. You can find these over at Yamaotoko.
Vans AVE Pro
We really cannot have a list without mentioning a staff and band favorite company: vans. The Vans AVE Pro are perfect for those of us who want to hold on to summer as long as possible. They retail for $100 and can be found at Vans.
Nike Air Max 1 Sketch
Lastly, we are all about exploring one’s own creativity. What better way then with the Nike Air Max 1 sketch? You can find these for $160 at GOAT.
