You mix a little bit of rockabilly, a lot of S&M and sprinkle on some goth and you have Deandri. Based out of Los Angeles, this brand features clothes for men and women that are bold with a dark theatrical sensibility.
The women’s wear is how I picture Wednesday Addams would dress as an adult. There are mini-dresses and skirts with school-girl influences mixed with pleather and crop tops. Buttoned up blouses and sheer chiffon dresses give the collection a more grown-up aesthetic while still maintaining the naughty S&M vibe. I loved the large Peter Pan collars on the dresses to make it sweet and sexy at the same time.
They have a variety of saddle and oxford flats, wedges and platform heels that paired with the outrageously cool clothes are sure to make a big statement. Not to mention the variety of harnesses, bibs and collars to accessorize your outfit and give it that punctuation of goth.
Men’s looks are similar in tone with tops that have a clerical collar in slim, clean lines. They also have oxfords that go hand in hand with the surprising conservative feel of their shirts. I particularly liked the black patent shoe that gives a nod to the 1950’s rockabilly silhouettes.
As mentioned before all the clothes are manufactured in L.A. and all PVC dresses, tops and shoes are made from animal friendly fabrics. The shoes are individually hand crafted which is great when a brand brings a personal touch to their products. They also offer gift cards so you can buy it for that special someone who has been desperately searching for a sexy choker and leash set!
