ULTIMATE SUMMER PLAYLIST: 7 HOURS OF OLD AND NEW SONGS TO LISTEN ALL SUMMER LONG

Ultimate Summer Playlist

THE ULTIMATE SUMMER PLAYLIST

Last week both Pandora and Spotify released their contenders for the coveted “Song of the Summer.” It is no surprise that there is some overlap. Those songs include: Logic‘s “1-800-273-8255 (ft. Alessia Cara & Khalid); Selena Gomez‘s “Bad Liar; DJ Khaled‘s “I’m the One” (ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne)and Lil Uzi Vert‘s “Xo Your Llife3.”

In order to reach “Song of the Summer” status the song must be a commercial success. By Labor Day you should hate it so much that you avoid it when it pops up on your playlist. For those who are wondering what the biggest Summer songs of all time were, Billboard has created a list. Yes, 2002’s “Hot in Herre” by Nelly and 2013’s “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke are high up on the list. Two songs most music fans, including yours truly, begrudgingly sings along to while wanting to poke my eyeballs out.

So instead of creating a list of the best “Song of the Summer” of all time or listing out our thoughts on 2017 contenders we thought we should create the ultimate Summer playlist consisting of over 7 hours of new and old songs that are perfect to listen to all Summer long.

Do you agree with the list? If not feel free to use the comment section below to tell us why not and give us your suggestions.
